Partners in Careers (PIC) is a Vancouver non-profit which assists individuals to become economically self-sufficient by providing resources, training and job placement opportunities.
Friends of the Carpenter is a Community Jobs placement site for PIC, where people in training learn work skills on-the-job in a safe and supportive environment. PIC workers have been helping us with office work, janitorial work, specialty woodworking, and other projects for several years. We are always excited when one of our PIC workers graduates to a permanent job!
